Yep, PEI tartan on the island. I was going to use it as background for his kilt, but he is red enough as it is.
Todd, I just put the hackle on there.

I can also make out the O'Brien clan badge on the bonnet! Nice touch! :mrgreen:

hehe...couldn't resist. Which also explains the 'royal" blue hackle. I put him in the Irish Regiment of Canada tartan, looked good, but was a little tough to make out with the tartan covering the island.

I like the royal blue...thought you could also use the lighter "St. Patrick's blue" as well! :mrgreen:
