I've had several really nice experiences in clothing stores.
When I was looking for a nice matching sweater the staff of a clothing store/taylor bombarded me with questions and kind remarks...they never seen a kilt close quarters.
They even asked me to take it off for "inspection". I gave in and borrowed a pair of trousers, so they could inspect the kilt.
They loved it!...the weight, the tartan, the pleats and the craftmanship.
I got a nice discount for the sweater
Another clothing store...I'm a regular customer there...they also love my kilts and they have a keen eye (clever commercial bast@$ds! )
It's almost impossible to leave that store without something nice...a shirt, a sweater, a jacket.
"Oh! look at this! this short jacket will go perfectly with your kilt!"
hard to say no....

I tell my boys that 'when Dad is home, Mom wears the pants in the family!'
on a side note...How do you cut a previous post so you see the original poster?
Thanks

to remove a part of the quote, simple delete it. As long as you do not delete anything between apair of brackets, you should be fine.

Funny, it was probably just a robotic comment.
After writing a ticket, I always say, "Thanks for your cooperation and drive safely!" It is automatic. I say it without thinking. I have caught myself saying to not only uncooperative people (which isn't the worst thing, it just comes off as sarcastic) as well as those I have cited for no license (or suspended license) as they are being sent away on foot and their car or motorcycle is being hooked up to a tow truck.... "Drive safely... er.. Don't drive safety, um, be safe, but DON'T DRIVE!" Jeeze! I wish I could stop myself, but it seems to be beyond me! I always catch myself too late.
How about a shirt that says, "Yes it's a KILT" on the front and "Pants are for Lasses!" on the back.

I've got to get myself one of those!
Two weeks back I was busily trying to feed a parking meter when the door of the next car opened and a woman got out and said "I really like your quilt!" After seeing my confused look she realized her mistake and corrected herself. This led to a short but very pleasant conversation.
Now that wouldn't have happened if I were wearing jeans.
