    How many buttons?

I got this jacket yesterday. I won it on Thursday. the only complaint I had is the seller did not notify me when it was shipped. I had tried on a jacket like the one I got in Salt Lake and found that they are snug and I need the next size up. Go to a local tux shop and try one one even if it is a tail coat. For $20.00 /W postage The quality is great, Wool fully lined and red satin in Breast pocket.

Now I am trying to decide what bottons to get  Three up the sleaves and two on the front or three on the front?

Oh well I can allways wear it the way it is for the time being, Like I have that many formal functions to go to

I am just doing two up the sleeves on mine and using a chain/button closure for the front....

Most PCs have three up each side in the front and three up the sleeves I think....

I figured fewer buttons = less formal = less expensive to do.......

I'd go with whatever the normal is for a PC jacket.

Did you try on a kilt jacket, or a tux jacket in Salt Lake. I have never had an issue with tux jackets being different in sizing than a suit jacket, but I found that kilt jackets usually require one size up. Should make for a nic eformal jacket. I would do three buttons in the front (each side) and three on each sleeve like a Prince Charlie. If you want a waistcoat to go with the jacket, check out http://www.burnetts-struth.com/sale_items.asp they have some PC waistcoats (middle of the way down) for $45 cdn.
