This NYTimes subscription article, Paul Bunyan, Modern-Day Sex Symbol, supports that, though they say surveys find that no more than two or three percent of women find a full beard sexy. Contrary to the alarm raised by this thread, the article suggests that beards are, in fact, making a comeback.
