Don't know if this counts as addiction, but after adding my recent "tank" order to my kilt total, I just passed what I payed for my first ever new car purchase. It was a shiny blue 1967 Ford Mustang, just over 2600 dollars back then.

My father's first car was a 1967 Mustang in Frost Turquoise Blue. I had it until about 3 years ago, when I traded it for a 1972 CB450 with 1009 miles on it.
I'm jonesing *badly* for another modern kilt. I want either a workman's or a mocker. I only have my 8 yd. 16 oz. Douglas Modern and my black Amerikilt, so I've been wearing the heck out of the AK. Mizzphinz even said yesterday after got back from the office and was wearing shorts "It's strange to see you in shorts now. I'm used to either trousers (standard office monkey suit) or a kilt!" Maybe now she's convinced that I need more kilts. A nice 4 yd. Irish National and County Tyrone would be just the ticket as well.

Do you have family in County Tyrone? That's where my family came from in the mid to late 1920s. Since my uncle passed away in 2002, I have lost contact with anyone there.

Embrace it and enjoy it. Eventually you run out of closet space.

doesn't that explain why many scottish manors are so large? Same living space as the common folk's house..the additional wings are for proper kilt and scotch storage!

Rob,
Buying quaility craftsmanship from Kathy is not addiction...its wise.
Of course it just might be a compulsion to find a beautiful tartan then picture what it'd look like in a hand sewn kilt with Kathy's incredible pleatwork.
I only have four of her hand sewns...that's not addictive yet...right....?
And those three USA Kilt Casuals I just ordered for summer...and the semi-trad in my clan colors....that's not addictive....right....?
And wearing kilts every day...that's common sense, not addiction right....and if I've lost count of how many I have that's not obsessive is it?? Somewhere in the high thirty's....just wise garment selection right???
I'm staying kilted one day at a time. I'm never going back to the misery of....gag....pants....
