It's five to seven days a week for me, but that's mostly because I have a number of shirts that I can't wear with any of my kilts due to major color clash, but the arrival of the X Marks Tartan yesteray (YAY! GLORIOUS DAY!) as well as my near completion of the box-pleated MacDougall kilt should round that out and I'll go seven days a week.

I do have to get some more hose, though, before I can really do that comfortably. I'm sick of doing the wash twice a week!

Good thing I've decided to wear kilts before I got married, or had a fiance! They're just going to have to accept it, or better yet, I'll meet someone who actually likes the kilt!

Yeah, I hear that one too. I've only got the pair that came with my kilt. I'm eagerly anticipating the new kilt hose in my shipment to arrive monday almost as much as the new kilt, sporran, and sgian dubh!

Pretty much every day. The only time I am not wearing a kilt is when I am wearing shorts, for biking, etc..

I try to think of kilt wearing as just another option. I wear them at home on weekends and a couple of times after work. I wear them to work on special days or about every other week. I don't think my supervisors would care if I wore them more. They've been ok with it. When my tanks arrive I'll save them for special occasions. Right now I make due with a UK workman and SWK. Depends on the weather and what kind of work I'm doing.

    hmm...

    Every weekend...
almost every formal event. Won't wear it at a Funeral, as I do not have a full formal kitt yet.

during the week I'll normally put one on when I get home from work. I'm making progress on wearing them to work all the time, but it is a slow process.

Eventually I won't own any pants at all!

Haven't worn pants since August 3, 2005. Kilted full time since. Love it.

Been to jails (on the job, not as a resident yet), court, out in high winds, hasn't been a problem or anything I couldn't deal with.

Eased into it. For work first showed up kilted at the '04 Christmas party at the boss' home, then began wearing kilts to work on special occasions (had my defenses ready), then on casual Fridays and when I wanted to...finally, just gutted it out (there's a mental piece to deal with) and came to work kilted every day.

It was worth the effort and walking through the silly fears. The worst things I ever experienced never actually happened.

Interestingly, my agency's dress code has always been, "Don't make us institute a dress code." After nearly 9 months of me being kilted daily that has not changed.

    Smile As often as possible...

Since first wearing a kilt, about two months ago, I've worn trousers very seldom. Once in a while I assume that keeping a "low profile" and dressing like other guys is to my advantage, but I could be wrong.

At any rate, I wear a kilt or kilt-like garment (i.e. UK) virtually daily, even at work. With summer coming on, I'm sure I'll go kilted every day.

After all, wasn't that the way God intended?

I usually wear them 5-7 days a week. I work outdoors and there are times when I wear pants or coveralls. I wear a clergy shirt with a kilt for hospital and nursing home visits. I get a lot of looks and comments on that.

Whenever I get a whim to do so - usually about 2 - 3 times a week. They're an "option" in my wardrobe.
