Talking Kilted at home and also pics!

Well... I was kilted at home today and I thought that I never posted a pic of myself kilted in my black paterned "tourist kilt" from Edimburgh so, there it goes, although I was dressed quite informal and without hose or boots, so, excuse me purists!

    Anyway, there it goes:

Here's the first shot,... as you can see I was catched looking seriously at the cam waiting for the temporizer....

On the second one I showed some smile, hehe:

Here you got a back view:

And finally here you can appreciate the pattern of the black tartan with slight green and purple lines:

    Thumbs up

Great pics. Would it be safe to assume that the pleats are hard to see? Thanks for sharing them.

    Talking

Here u got a couple of shots of the pleats, although they're no deep at all!!

    [IMG][/IMG]

Here you can appreciate the lack of deepness on the pleats, as well as the lack of setting to any stripe or sett...

That's what I got for 90 pounds in Edimburgh, but the I didn't know what a real kilt was so, it was ok for me.... now I'd look for a real kilt!, although I love my substitutive! At least it gave me the chance of getting involved in this wanderful site!

    ¡Salud!

P.S.: DON'T FORGET TO GO LOOKING ON PAGE 2 FOR THE PICS WITH THE E-BAY "BLACK WATCH"!

Great photos, Valencian, and a nice looking starter kilt.

I really like the subtle colors on the black, they really give it great depth while still keeping it pretty basic and easy to mix and match.

I'm with bangkok kilt; I really like the two colours on the black. I think that's a neat look.

I agree....the tone on tone look is sharp and would work well for an 8 yard kilt
