    I wore my SK for Belegarth fighting back when I did that. I did a fair bit of charging across a field at people in it, and a fair bit of tumbling while fighting. It not only held up nicely, it allowed me more freedom in my stride and was quite attractive to the ladies to boot.

    Running in a kilt

    I was in Scotland last weekend and went to the annual road races on the Queen's estate at Balmoral. Unfortunately the Queen was not present. However, there is a 10k race called the "Tartan 10K" in which the runners are encouraged to wear a kilt. The winner (male and female) in a kilt get £250.00.

    I have about 4 pics but I do not know how to put them on here - if someone will tell me I will post them.

    Perhaps next years some of you younger/fitter XMarkers might wish to enter a team........
