Congratulations. My wife and I will celebrate our 30th next January. As to what makes a long and succesful marriage, I'd say one word. Communication. You must be willing to listen, as must your wife. Neither of you can be pleased with everything every day, but communicate your concerns and be flexible and willing to compromise. Also, live each day as if it might be your last together. Don't say or do something that you wouldn't want your partner to have as their last memory of you.
