    Mike,

To reiterate, no apology necessary...your family is more important than anything or anyone here (no offense intended to the site or any Xmarkers).

Your prayer request reminded me of a song I was listening to recently, one I've always found comforting. The lyrics (below) are from a Satellite Soul song (a now defunct CCM band), which is based on Psalm 8:3-4. The song is "Single Moment":

    Verse 1:
The sun goes down around me here and somewhere else
    it’s rising once again
The air that fills my lungs to full can somehow cause a breeeze
to pull a ship to the land

    Chorus
There is not a single moment that You don’t see
There is not a single moment that You’re not here with me

    Verse 2:
And every thought I’ve had today, well You knew what
    they’d be before they were
And every heart that beats in time with what You want
is sure to find Your voice is heard

    Chorus

    Verse 3:
And though I try to do my best so often now I must confess to wrong
As sure as this old air I breath You made a plan for my reprieve to lead me on.

    Chorus x2
Just thought I'd share this with you...my prayers are with you and your son. God bless.

Mike, no apologies necessary, and the request is one I and my family are honored to fulfill. You will be in our thoughts and prayers and I wish your son a speedy, and cancer free, recovery. Others may not agree with my saying this, but better that both the "boys" be taken and your son enjoy a long and healthy life rather than fight cancer for a long time.

May each of you find comfort and strength in His gentle embrace. I've lost five of my family to cancer. I want you to know that you'll be kept in my prayers each time one is offered.
