Hi Daz .... I have pm'd you. Re the pipes .. as you might know Elaine and myself are full time musicians .. me guitars and Elaine sings .. all Celtic/folk. I could bring an acoustic with me ... we could could get a good old folk session going both Sat and Sun in the pub. Can't see em objecting to that. Perhaps we could call it the X Marks Folk Club, just for the occasion.

Ah, the prospect of a ceilidh in Harpenden! It seems almost as incongruous as a Highland Gathering in south-east England - or shades of those Caledonian Society meetings they used to have in Simla in the days of the Raj.

It seems I'll have a stall/table at the Crafters' Village.

Ham, sorry to say I am stuck in the US this year. If it is being held the same time each year, there is a good chance Brenda and I will be able to tack it on next year. Either way I'm lifting a pint and a wee dram in your honor on the 16th. Take care and have fun at the games.
