mrpharr,
I am glad to hear you finally got a response. Please post a few pictures and a review of your Scots American kilt after it arrives. I am thinking about ordering one in July.

I had some problems getting a reply as well, but David Sweeny called me this AM to tell me that my kilts would be shipped Friday and that they would e-mail me a tracking number. It sounds like they were having some problems with their e-mail or inquiry screen, and he apologized for the lack of comunication.

David McSweeney and the other folks at Scottishkilts and Tartan web are great. I had some communication issues once, but have never had them since. Glad to hear that everyone is getting their stuff sorted out. They have great products in my opinion.

I asked a question just this morning about 10am EDT about the 3 Button Tweed jacket w/ 5 button waistcoat they have offered on their site (which I read in another thread was no longer available) and received a reply about ten minutes ago:
Hi Michael,
Thank you for your enquiry.
We can supply this style, however, it will have to be specially made, so you will currently be looking at between 4 and 6 weeks turn around time. We can normally turn around custom jackets faster than this, but things are a little hectic just now as we are right in the middle of the season.
For information, the style shown on the site is a Wallace Jacket with 3 buttons on the front, no eppaulettes, and a single button cuff. Just let me know if you need any more information.
Kind regards,
David McSweeney

That was a pretty fast reply, methinks. Of course, when I ordered my wedding kilt from them last year, I did have some problems getting an answer re: ship date, but it did arrive well before I needed it and it was well made, as was my black Argyle jacket and waistcoat. I'm wearing the waistcoat right now, in fact.

I just noticed this. If you need to phone them, 0044 141 333 5690 is not going to work.
The correct number to dial would be 011 44 1413 335690
