The correct answer is D) None of the above. You'll end up looking too dark in the nether regions ("Bottom-heavy"), especially when you lace on a pair of black shoes.
Oatmeal is my choice with Black Watch. Gray or stone is a close second, but avoid all the really dark colors.

I don't drink any more so I don't have that as an excuse. So what I do now is unscrew the light bulb in the closet and take out whatever I touch first. No light ,no worries.
Or if your really concerned about what other people think why are you wearing a kilt?
Final solution/comment. develope relationship with metrosexual and have him tell you what goes with what
Hope this helps.........man i gotta start drinkin agin

I wear lovat blue hose and matching tweed Argyle jacket with my modern Hume kilt. The blues tone really well.

I thought the "nether regions" was what was under our kilt that was supposed to remain a mystery?!?!?!

Well, I will disagree with TH and answer Yes to all 3, and I have worn all 3 (at separate times!) with my B/W kilt.

I have worn black hose, with black shoes, navy or B/W flashes, white dress shirt, black wool tie, and blackj Argyll jacket for funerals (2).

I have worn the B/W with a navy pullover shirt, navy hose (pushed down), with black shoes or boots.

And I have worn the B/W with a black shirt, brown sporran, brown belt, and brown shoes, with bottle green hose, with the hose either pushed down, or up with B/W flashes.

All three looked fine to me.
The kilt concealed a blaster strapped to his thigh. Lazarus Long
