How high is too high?

Rex, I think the kilt looks great on you, try wearing it a few times and working with the waist and belt level, you can wear the belt at the proper waist level and pull some of the kilt up above the belt. The belt doesn't have to go through the belt loops. In fact most recommend wearing the belt outside of the loops.

Gee, Cawdorian beat me to it...I was going to suggest the same thing (forget the belt loops and pull the kilt up a wee bit.) A wider kilt belt will keep things in place better and improve the overall look.

Rex, your kilt looks great as it is. I like the way the yellow shirt brings out the yellow stripes. Wearing it a little higher would be fine, just the way it is looks good too.
