Greenville Games are next then hopefully Friday and Sunday at
Grandfather. We usually camp but work is
going to make that impossible this year.
Triad and Loch Norman are my family's gatherings, but if I can, I try to make the Greenville games, Blue Ridge games in Blue Ridge, Ga, Stone Mountain games and, of course, the Foothills games here in Hendersonville to close the season - they are always the first weekend in November. Good games and nice crisp nip in the air to make the whiskey tasting that much more fun! LOL
I really want to get to the Waxhaw games, too - maybe this will be the year for it. After PMing with HeathBar I may try to get to the Gatlinburg, TN games on the 20th of this month, too.
I really need to expand my interests, don't I? LOL We are so lucky to have so many great games and festivals in our area, and I am drawn to them like a moth to a flame, and of course, always looking for an opportunity to listen to pipes and wear a kilt, I must go. LOL
I, unfortunately, don't go to GMHG - I have a family obligation and it always coincides with GM the week after the fourth.
There is also a good chance I might make it to the
ETH show next Friday at Jack of Woods.
I'm really looking forward to meeting everybody there!

There's a one-day event Tomorrow (May 13) in Winston-Salem. I'll probably be going, but not definite yet.

Geez, MacSim...I just got back and saw this post for the first time. I must have walked by your tent a dozen times...you know, I was the tall good-looking guy in the brand new X-Marks tee shirt...
Sorry I didn't get to meet you. Grandfather Mtn?

Oh well. Don't know how I missed that shirt! I should be at GMHG but only on Saturday and Sunday since I couldn't get Friday off.

I expect we'll be there on Saturday only. We should have no trouble finding one another among...several thousand kilted people!
