I know how you feel. I was getting antsy for my last AK and hadn't heard anything. So I e-mailed Mike asking him when to expect it. I heard back from him the next day telling me my kilt was due to arrive the following Thursday or Friday. Sure enough it did. I'm pleased with their customer service.

It's here, along with my belt. I'm a *very* happy boy.

For the record, that means it took them a total of 12 days from order placed on Sunday to arriving on my doorstep. I *will* be ordering more from them. They rock!

Oh, and the kilt is really nice too. I came home and immediately put it on. Nice piece of kit, though I believe I may have ordered it a little long. It's just below my knee instead of just above, but I'm OK with that. Overall, it's *very* comfortable and I couldn't be happier.

I don't know that I'll wear it this weekend. I'm really leaning toward my Douglas tartan, since the clan will have a tent set up.

I'm going to check on temperature in the morning, since it's a heavy wool kilt. If it's going to be hot I'll be all about the AK.

The kilt arrived today and is perfect! Fit like a glove right out of the box, and is far better in person than the pics suggest!

First major outing will be on the golf course Saturday morning!
