I too had a wonderful experience. I placed the order online and within 3 days it was at my house. I haven't used mine yet, but having dealt with a lot of ballistic nylon in the way of holsters, et cetera, it's obvious this is a pretty good piece of kit.

Okay, back from my first field test with this puppy. I really like it.

First thing I notice is how much lighter it is. Went to our local Relay for Life cancer fighting fundraiser. Took wallet, keys, small camera, change. Hardly noticed I had a sporran on. Being lighter it seemed less hassle when driving.

Main thing I like, as KCW mentione,d is the compartments. I can actually get to my stuff one handed and without looking. That's a big plus for me.

Put some kiltmaker's cards in the little flap pocket, my wallet by itself in the velcro pocket, and the rest of the stuff in the big pocket.

So nice to be able to go right to my wallet and not have to disentangle it from my keys etc.

Didn't need any change tonight but see what KCW means that the flap pocket would be perfect for it.

So...now I'm enthused and want more....when's it coming out in brown?...and green?

Mine just arrived today. The Army has me put up in a hotel. I was out adjusting the rear wheel of my bike when I noticed the USPS truck arrive. Followed the postman into the lobby and grabbed my box. Got a kilt belt, sporran strap, and a subdued buckle as well. Put it together with my eBay BW and a pair of black Dr. Martens and good ol' Army black wool sox. Doesn't look too bad to me. Perhaps it's a bit subdued for some people, but I'm a subdued kinda guy. I like the sporran a lot. Right now, just playing with configurations and trying to work up the nerve to wear it to the pub tonight. Wish I had it yesterday. There were two guys in Revolutionary War dress - I would have blended in a bit more.
