Not sure if you meant next I plan on purchasing or next I will get. The next I am planning on is likely an 8 yarder in the Davidson to honor my birth father's family, although I might wait until I have fully traced the lineage. The other possibility is a Dundee district tartan in a 4yd casual or 8 yd tank to honor the man who raised me as his son (there's an Irish grandmother in that side as well!). And then there is the maternal side that I have not even begun to explore, but I know has English roots, and could very well tie back to Scotland.
As for the next one I will get, it will be a 4yd, box pleated to the sett, in the XMarks tartan from Matt (hemmed for anyone who is interested). Unless I change my mind on anyone of the details once Matt is actually ready to start mine!
I also have my eye on a SWK Saffron HW. I really love my SWK HW in weathered Lamont. Just have to watch the finances, or sell some more stuff on eBay!

Er....well that's a good question. I'm waiting on Matt Newsome to just toss a few stitches into some tartan and send that to KCW. ( ) Once that chore is out of the way then he can concentrate on a nice 5 yard knife pleated kilt with Fly Plaid and flashes for me. (And a bit leftover for a vest.)
After that......well there are several on the wish list. Hmmmmm... Lord of the Isles? Navy Stewart? Caledonian? Whatever strikes my fancy.

Something in Army Tartan (probably gonna try SK on that one)
8 yard Duke tartan (just as soon as I have the money to create one)
Union Kilt brown cord
Rkilt blue denim
and possibly a SWK saffron

There was a thead like this some time ago, and I laid out my future plans, and totally didn't follow up on any of them!
So I'll just say at some future time I plan to have a traditional kilt in the Texas Bluebonnet Tartan
Order of the Dandelion, The Houston Area Kilt Society, Bald Rabble in Kilts, Kilted Texas Rabble Rousers, The Flatcap Confederation, Kilted Playtron Group.

My next kilt... probably a macfarland that I may make.
The next one after that, that I'm planning on, is a 16oz MacEwen or MacLachlan from Barb.
I'll probably break down and order one or two between now and then, though. As I won't be ordering it for probably 1.5-2 years or so, just in time for college graduation.
