Just wanted to chime in as well. Came back from a 7 day vacation last night and there it was. The USAK X-Marks. Pleated to the sett as well. Being my first wool tartan kilt, my first reaction was damn, this think is heavy. Haven't had a chance to try it on yet (got in at midnight to a stiffling house and humid weather to unpack the car in).

I'll try and put up some pictures tonight.

    Thanks Rocky!!!

Here we go folks. It's pretty fresh out of the box, so it needs to be pressed, but you'll get the idea. And the look, which will become obvious, is quite casual.

Bring the Xmarks kilt with you when you come to Durham and I'm sure out of all the pics we take, one or two of them will be appropriate for general audiences. ;-)

When you come up will probably be the last time I'll be able to wear my "little kilts" in awhile; I've been losing weight and all of my pants are falling down on me. Given the price of kilts I'm going to have to buy all new ones when I get to my target weight but put up with cheap pants to get me by in the meantime. Although I was thinking a Great Kilt would get me through the year it's going to take me to lose it all...

Excellent kilt!!! You did forget the one necessary accessory, though, a bonnie lass at your side! They tend to compliment the kilt very well, and in some cases make the viewer forget there is even a kilt in the pic!!!

    Well done!

Hey KT... The kilt looks like it fits great!

One thing to remember. WHen you're putting it on, check that the center white stripe on the front apron is over your belly button. That'll keep the kilt centered and keep the belt loops sitting where they should be.
