Any kilted classic and sports car owners here?
I drive an early Miata (painted in Lotus Racing Green and Lotus Racing Yellow, in honor and memory of Jim Clark, great Scot driver and twice F1 champion (63, 65), and more if only his Lotus had held together (heh, but what do you expect from a Lotus-hence the Miata-> Lotus that don't break).
I am making a kilt in Green Stewart (well, it's missing the light blue stripe-> Is it still "Green Stewart?") to match the car, including the red interior (another touch authentic to the green and yellow F1 cars.
I drive this "modern classic sports car" kilted, regularly.
PS.-> "If your leading a race and get passed by your own wheel, you know your driving a Lotus."
-Graham Hill, lotus F1 driver.

No classic right now, but I'm looking. If any of my kilted brethen has a line on a first genreation Camaro, PLEASE let me know. Talk about jonesing. I have permission from SWMBO and I have the money set aside. A good driver is most acceptable as I have a good friend to do the finish work.

SWMBO? Significant Wife, Mother, Brother, and all Others? Or maybe Single, Wholesome, Malleable Broad with Obvious tendencies to classic cars?

Very pretty!
I wish I knew where the picture was, so I could post it...
Somewhere around here, I have a picture of myself wearing a great kilt in the driver's seat of my 1955 Chevy Two-Ten four-door (Antique Turquoise and White, two-toned), with a Lochaber axe seatbelted into the passenger seat.
It was taken a few hours before I got pulled over. That's another story.
