First Tattoo
Just got my first tattoo over the weekend. I've wanted one for about 10 years. When I first wanted one I talked myself out of it thinking that in 10 years I wouldn't want it anymore. Well it's 10 years later and I still wanted one! Must say that I was heavily influenced by other members here and some of the threads on tattoos. Thanks to those of you who posted pics and participated in the discussions.
Sorry for the poor picture. I just sold my camera and this is the only one I got from my friends camera that was any good. Maybe I'll post better pics later, but it'll be a while (waiting to buy the sweet new Nokia n93 at the end of the summer).
This is the tattoo immediately after. . .

This is the design so you can see it better (had to change the chevrons to outlines with black letters. . .

Thank KT, but I got in done here in Ankara, Turkey so I'm guessing no one's gonna use my guy! Also, I designed the tattoo myself, so again, no luck with my guy.

It's always better to have done some of the designing yourself IMHO. Sure the artist will clean it up and make it look nice, but it is nice to know the idea and personal touch was your own.
