    Not my bag either.

    There's more than enough tartan in a kilt IMHO.

    I do like the the idea of a matching plaid for the bride at a kilted wedding though.

    I've worn them on a shirt that way, and found that the brooch pin needs to be high like that, otherwise the plaid tends to fall off the shoulder. Now if there were epaulets on the shirt, would stay better.
