Oh dear! Another thread that I've missed! Sorry to be coming late to it.
Trousers? (Sorry again, I don't like the word 'pants' - they are worn under trousers!) Trousers are absolutely a thing of the past to me. I have not worn any, of any description, for seven years, one month, two weeks and four days!! As for actually owning any, well, I probably finally got rid of the last pair about six years ago.
I now have enough kilts of almost every description, jackets, doublets, shoes, boots and every kind of accessory (with the exception of fly plaids, which I dislike), to attend any event that might come my way. Everything from a Grand Ball at Buckingham Palace to crawling through the sewers (but I'd have to be paid very handsomely to do THAT!). Be it a football match or a funeral, I believe I could be appropriately dressed anywhere. So why should I need trousers - ever again? No, not me!
