I am humbled by your post sir...
The one thing I will point out... 95% of our PV kilts come with the "frayed" selvedge edge. The Ireland's National is different b/c I had them custom weave it. Since I ordered 250 M of it and I'm paying a MUCH higher price per meter (b/c it's special woven), I could ask for the kilting "tuck selvedge" that it comes with. The mill normally reserves the machine that does the tuck selvedge for wool, but sometimes a roll or two of PV finds it's way onto the machine.
