We stumbled upon this familliar fellow hard at work in his portable workshop.

Mr. R-Kilts himself... Robert Pell!
(Utilikilts pale in comparison to these!)

My sweetheart wanted to show off her new kilted skirt
for the camera before we left town for the day.

That really looks good. Very handsome kilted skirt and she wears it particularly well, if you don't mind my saying so.

My wife was lucky to find a similar length three-buckle kilted skirt in a beautiful McLean hunting heavy wool (I'd guess about 13 oz.) at our favorite local thrift store. It was priced, well, I'll just say very reasonably. What a find!

We immediately set about studying clan McLean. We wanted to make sure it was worn with the proper respect.

I had to work! It was the only way to keep the pipers practicing out of my booth! They were in my booth around it getting ready for competitions. Well I fouled them up. The inverter I use to convert the solar power to AC makes the motor on my sewing machine hum at about an 1/6th of tone sharper than one of the drones on a bag pipe. It drives them batty and they leave. Me ears feel a little better when that happens.
In person Blu's wife looked STUNNING in her new outfit. well done! It was hard not to notice her in amongst the crowds.
