    Great pics all around!

    In photo #3, I see a Phantom in the back ground but the two foreground aircraft I don't recognize. The one in front looks vaguely like a MiG-21.

    Do tell!

    Correct, Blu, the rearmost one is a Phantom. The one in the centre is a Meteor, which was the earliest British jet fighter, and the one in the foreground is a British built Lightning, which saw service with the Saudi Air Force, although it is now painted as a (British) Royal Air Force example in keeping with the theme of the collection.

    Roberston, these photos were taken yesterday at Carlisle Airport's aviation museum where I am a volunteer. They were taken early in the morning before we got busy. There is a similar aviation museum on the old Heathall Airfield at Dumfries which is also well worth a visit.
