Thanks. I really love seeing all these places with games. I probably won't get to all of them, but just to see them is a treat.

PM1, the Wickerman was very impressive in the pics and I'm sure more impressive at the site.
Can you tell us more about the story behind the Wickerman?

it is a film frae 1973...
here is a guid link....http://www.steve-p.org/wm/
it has become a cult classic...
it wuz filmed in Dumfries & Galloway... (near Newton Stewart)
Christopher Lee, Edward Woodward, & Britt Ekland (Rrowwrr!)
The film centers around a battle of ideals between a devoutly-religious Scottish police sergeant from the mainland and the older pagan beliefs of the locals on a remote Hebridean island. The idea was that the pagan ways of the islanders would be conveyed to the audience as they followed the policeman's attempts to investigate the disappearance of a young girl. The policeman would become ever more deeply embroiled in the increasingly bizarre ways of the locals, culminating in a horrifying conclusion involving human sacrifice by burning in a huge wicker colossus.

looks like a great day PM1, and nice looking country too. Any one hazard a guess what the tartan is on the spider web hose man? Do they put any sort of symbolic sacrifice in the wickerman? You know, if one was fresh out of Tory's. Pumpkins or something...?
