    I'm nervous to get a jacket on Ebay because of sizing. Does it fit well? It looks like it does! Good find!

    I've been watching Ebay for awhile as well. Seems most jackets are not my size although I am not sure what the measurements should be compared to a regular sport coat or suit jacket.

    I have also been hesitant about jackets with small holes too. Can they be effectively repaired?

    Nice jacket by the way. Glad you got the high bid.

    Cheers! Bill

    Good looking kilt, what tartan is it? It looks like the Ancient Campbell tartan but the tram lines are single in the center of the blue and green panels instead of double at the edges of the blue and green panels.

    Thanks for all the kind words folks - just to answer a few questions;

    S.B.
    I don't know if its a Harris tweed - the only label inside says "Peter Henderson Ltd. - Glasgow."

    MacSimoin
    It looks great with the county Cavan tartan - I had that tartan and my Isle of Skye in mind when I picked it up.

    I was worried about the holes -the largest about the size of a pencil eraser - and mostly wanted them stabilized. The tailor did an amazing job and its almost impossible to find the repairs!

    For what its worth, the tartan is Strathspey district tartan from House of Edgar.

    Nice Find, Phil.

    It looks great on ya! I think the outfit looks fine without a tie...sophisticated yet casual at the same time and

    Cheers
