Well, that depends on the officer. Best to be sure any message is carefully tailored for the desired results.

What about: KILTS
So the license plate would read:
Discover
KILTS
Ontario

Or this:
Discover
KILTLAND
Ontario
Just envious. Little scope for this kind of fun with German plates!

I guess you discovered, like i did when I was trying to find one, that a heck of a lot of Virginia plates related to kilts are "unavailable" Makes me wonder, "Where are all the kilted guys hiding?"

I was pretty shocked myself. KILTED, KILTED 1, several others were all taken. And my wife didn't want to start getting cute and using numbers for letters (KILT3D was available I think) and want the work KILT spelled out (No KLTED, etc). KILT GUY wasn't my first choice, but it works.

As much as I love wearing kilts, there's no way I'd give up my current vanity plate - DJ 2 GO - since it says a lot about me & my mobile DJing company, Music-to-Go-Go.
However, were I to get a kilt related vanity plate, I'd check first on the availability of - GOTKILT. I have a t-shirt with GOT KILT? on it from realmenwearkilts.net & it invokes many a smile & favorable comment from folks.

It took me a long time to find one to express the meaning of what work I do, clock repair. Clockdr, etc. were all taken, so I came up with one that didn't show up on our Michigan gov. web site for the DMV where one can check for license ideas, and that was TIMEFIX
I asked the lady at the counter when I went to order it if she could tell what work i did, and she knew, so I knew it would be a good one. I have had people come up to me from a car behind while at the drive through for a credit union.
Those going to get one, have fun thinking and checking what is available.
