I didn't pick up one of the sale heavyweights. But, I did order myself a Wallace tartan kilt I needed a red tartan in a bad way. And the econo prices are so good I figured I'd give one a shot. I have one of his standards (the NS) and the only thing I don't care for on it is that I think the acrylic in that much yardage is a bit much. So, I'm excited to see how an acrylic 4-5 yarder feels.

What in the world just happened !?
I was talking about how this sale was killing me, not being able to buy one and my wife says, if you really want it just go ahead and get it.

Baking Powder?
Needless to say the 38" Saffron was ordered at light speed before she came to her senses

Better keep coming up with the requests while she's giving you the green light, Cav.

Maybe she thought she had waited long enough and all the good sizes (including yours) would be gone! If not, then order one of each color in your size. Isn't that what the ladies do to us? Oh honey, I just loved the style, so I bought one in each color! And there were only 40 different colors. Of course, the pollen, saffron, and mustard are similar as are the purple, fuschia, and violet, but they are all necessary for my wardrobe.

Once you get past having a certain number of kilts, do they not find it more difficult to keep tabs on?

It is about time to start planning something for the Stone Montain HG's. There was a pretty good turn out of X-markers last year from what I read.
Where in Atlanta are you Turpin?

I live in Roswell. And I almost just copied your avatar, but caught it in the nick. A co-worker had the entire Chick-Fil-A 06 calendar, and Boldhoof just spoke to me. Maybe I'll look for Angus Kahn. He was Scottish, right?
I actually found the Boldhoof picture online in a women's blog about kilted men! Now if i could just find out where they hang....
BTW what do you charge for your sporran straps?
