Great pictures-what you cant relate in pictures is the smell of the distillery, its something else. Wonderful

Again, brilliant as ever P1M!
I lived in Pencaitland in the shadow of the maltings when I was wee, and the lovely light Glenkinchie IS my favourite malt - not that I'm in any way an expert.
Funny though, I was talking to friends a couple of weeks ago about Scotland. The perennial question (apart from "do you have a kilt?") cropped up: Can you recommend an good single malt. So I recommended Glenkinchie and made a rather rash promise...
Maybe I'll just turn up there in full highland dress 'wi a full boatil (and tak some photaes)'.
Watch this space, kilted brethren!

I totaly agree!! I have only been to bourbon distilleries.. The thing I remember the most is the sweet smell of the rack houses!!

Whenever I get the chance to see anything about Scotland on the Travel Channel, I watch it , but feel as if they have left something out. P1M, your photos of Scotland are Fantastic. I have seen more from your photos than I ever would from the Travel Channel. I feel you have given me the final push to work on taking my family and I to Scotland for a vacation. Thanks again for all of your pics.
