P1M,
As an afternote I should point out that a remake of "The Wicker Man" is being released pretty soon starring "Nicolas Cage". Details here
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0450345/
Just what the world needs, another remake
Cheers
(You just know that Nick Cage is going to go for all the subtle characterizations and depth that Edward Woodward was incapable of)

This begs the question, also asked about Kevin Costner . . . How does Nicholas Cage keep getting work?

Women love Nick Cage. That's why. My wife will go to anything with him in it.
As for Costner, he has made a few great movies (Bull Durham, Silverado, Dances With Wolves, Field of Dreams) and is getting by on reputation.
BTW - to keep this post from being a complete hijack - Robertson, those pics are OUTSTANDING. The werewolf sporran is hilarious and the WickerMan is amazing. Looks like you had a great time.

Robertson, many thanks for another array of great and fascinating photos.
The curious thing about this is that I have NEVER heard of it, yet it appears to have been going for some years and is obviously a popular event, which is held only some 300 miles away from here! I am amazed! It is probably not really my scene with what I imagine to be a lot of noisy 'music', but I'd have thought I would have been aware of it at least.
I HAVE heard of the USA's 'Burning Man' event though, where Utilikilts are very much in evidence. Similar sort of thing perhaps, but with a lot of desert!!

Fantastic pics, as usual!
the flaming wickerman pics are great, many kudos from the guys here at work. One even suggested that he "grow into a kilt" and we cross the pond for next year's festival!!
