Kilt wearing accepted?

So I just ordered my first kilt (Utilikilt Original) and the wife keeps asking me why I spent $150.00 on a skirt, saying she won't go out in public with me wearing it, etc. To which I just nod and smile. I figure if I wear it all the time, she'll eventually HAVE to go out in public with me in it...

First, welcome! I imagine your wife will warm up to it eventually. Personally, I think a properly accoutered kilt outfit looks a lot smarter than your average casual or formal wear.
