Hey there!
Hey, I'm a long-time fan of kilts (and men who wear them) and I'm thinking about getting my first one. I'm working on a pair of kilt hose right now. (Like to knit). I've got a rotten rabbit who'd make a decent sporran!

Welcome
Welcome to this part of the web, enjoy your stay. Enjoy looking at the sponsors of this site, and if you have questions on kilts and kilt makers on the site feel free to ask. Are you looking for a tartan kilt or a plain kilt.

LOL! Well, I'd like to find a kilt of the MacBeth clan, even if it is ghastly. But I'm so short, I'd need a mini-kilt just to get it close to the right length. I'd like to wear it to the Kilted Mile in Indianapolis Kilted Mile in September.
I might meet some bonny kilted lads there!

Welcome from Ohio! I have to berate an Irish friend of mine from Indy for not letting me know about the festival! Thanks for the heads up.

Welcome to Xmarx... with a bit of browsing around this site, I'm sure you'll be able to find more than one source for the tartan kilt you seek.
It's always nice to see comments from the feminine perspective. I hope you find the group fun and informative.
cheers,

Welcome, Red
You will find a great deal of diversity on this site, and we're happy to have you add to it. I'm pretty new too, as you can tell from the number of my posts. A little newbie tip, if you haven't noticed already: once you get done orienting youself to all the excellent forums and get sort of caught up, each time you return to the site, look on the right side of the welcome screen. You'll see your avatar with some information underneath, including the number of new posts since you last left. Click on that and you get a listing of all the forums with new posts, so you can easily catch up with threads you've been following. This is a great tool.
Looking forward to your perspectives.

Welcome from the Windy City! And Turpin's tip is a good one for keeping current on the posts. You don't have to read or answer them all, but it is a quick way to see what's going on.
