I think I said that I intend to wear this future kilt for work. I work in the electronics store (PowerZone) at the local AAFES Exchange here. Although I care not a whit what folks may say about me wearing a kilt, the job does involve a lot of sitting, standing, kneeling, lifting, "floor exercise" and deep knee bends, so I do address the modesty issue. Not mine, of course, as I have no modesty and even less shame, but I wouldn't want to lose my job due to an unintentionally indiscreet moment.

I also have been pondering on the fabric issue in this job-related kilt. Should I go for a more durable, Utilikilt or other perhaps, canvassy fabric? Any thoughts on some of the other Kiltmakers?
Thanks, again.
Welcome to the Forum The Frumious B!
My wandering thru the PX for the past few months on Sundays in a Kilt has finally paid off!

As you can see from reading here, there is a type of kilt for most anyone's taste and situation. I'm sure you will be a big hit with everyone and give a lot of soldiers a chance to see what kilts look like. (Maybe in Camoflage?).

See you on Sunday,
