I'm making kilts!
Ok so this is my first post but I hope it not to be my last. I just started making and wearing kilts a few weeks ago. So far I have made three, two for me and one for a friend as a surprise. I just wanted to stop in and say hello and see how what I made compares to some of the other homemade or professional kilts. Well here goes.

Here is me pinning my second kilt.

..and here is it on with me holding my god daughter.

And here is my third kilt.

I hope they are comparable to some of the others. I have already been asked to make them commercialy by a few who have seen them.

Welcome! They look pretty good from the pics. It loks like you incorporated alternate color pleats, similar to what Pittsburgh Kilts did.

Nice work. I noticed the Pittsburgh Kilt influence, too.
Now, that's a pet rat, right??
Welcome aboard.

Looks good so far. If you are making them for purchase, I'd like to know what the going rates are, what materials you will use, types of buckles, straps, etc. That way one of us can get one and put up an honest critique of the work! Being labeled a quality kiltmaker from a good critique here will help your new company more than you can imagine.
Don't forget that if you want to hawk your wares, you need to be a regular contributor here.
Thanks!
