My wife actually introduced me to the whisky. I had never been a liquor man, mostly just a beer snob. If I had liquor, it was something like a rum and coke, some sort of mix. But since meeting her I also like Irish and Scotch whiskies.

We even made a stop at the Whisky Heritage Center just outside Edinburgh Castle on the Royal Mile when we were in Scotland... neat place if you're interested in the story of whisky. Or, if you just want to try out a whole bunch of different ones.
