That is accurate.
Let's think about the facts of pants.
They are not warmER than a kilt. They are not as comfortable as a kilt. They are not as versatile as a kilt.
In pants, if you wear your pants loose enough to be comfortable, they will fall down or be so baggy they will look terrible.
If you wear them tighter so they do not fall down or look terrible, they will be restrictive on the legs and hips, painfully crowd "the boys", wdge themselves and your underwear up your hind end and look terrible.
The only benefit pants offer is the concealment of the genitles in certain positions. Other than that, kilts win hands down based on logic, comfort, functionality and style

Funny cartoon, but I think we have all seen at least one or two photos of UK's being almost that low ![Smile](http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)
For the record, I can't stand the men in capri pants trend right now. Capri pants and nail polish, huh? very manly.

don't forget that in pants, you have a fairly decent chance of falling over trying to put said pants on. Never fallen over putting a kilt on.

Love it! It's odd how the lengths of shorts have evolved over the years--why not call them capris? I don't advocate the really short shorts men used to wear way back when, but the oversized shorts of today are just as ridiculous.
