For the record, I think the mods here do a great job of keeping things rolling and usually I have no issue with a thread being locked when it takes a turn for the worse.

If a moderator see's a need to remove an entire thread the only expectation is to notify the post originator with a curteous tone and explanation.

It's a pleasure to read this forum. The rules and admins efforts make it such. Thanks, I would not be here if it were not for your efforts. I would not have met several interesting and wonderful folks. This is the best.
