As Promised: Scott Modern Red from Kathy Lare
Friday, I stopped at the post office on the way out of town. There it was. A 16 ounce strome from Lochcarron hand sewn by Kathy Lare of Kathy's Kilts. The word "tank" does apply to this baby. I opened it up and laid it out on the back seat of my Escape while bouncing the backroads across the Navajo reserevation to Hopi Land.
When I got to my lady's home in the government housing complex at Keams Canyon on the Hopi Reservation took these two quick shots in her back yard.
Yup, I'm tired all right.
This is a delicious kilt, it has more swing than any other kilt I own, even the other 16 oz strome. Go figure.
The Scott tartan is to honor my mother's maternal grandfather and the Scott clan. Sadly, she is near death now and figured it would be nice to receive the kilt to show to her before she moves on to her next great adventure. And it did arrive. Gonna go show her tomorrow.
Will get better pics with the right shirt etc. later.

"I'll have a kilt please, a nice hand sewn tartan, 16 ounce Strome. Oh, and a sporran on the side, with a strap please."
