Quite an encounter. As for Pam........ She seems to me to be as sharp as a bag of wet mice. Not attractive. I am more of a Milla Jovovich sort of guy.

Well, I can think of one or two reasons...

...the second one being I think the guy is considering what it would be like to hang free in public. When I sense that The Questioner's curiosity is not simply prurient, I often take them on a guided trip through their own imagination. It frequently goes like this:

[The Question]

"Well, if you wore a kilt, what would you do?"

"Well, I'd go without."

"So, why do you need me to tell you what *I'm* doing?"
