That's awesome! One of my friends out here, who is pretty hairy, gets comments about his pelt all the time! From adults!

At some point during the school year, I usually visit the local grandkids' schools with my pipes. They really seem to enjoy the music, and usually have some questions about the kilt. A couple of years ago my daughter was in the classroom helping out, the day after my visit, if memory serves it was a 2nd grade class. A little girl approached her and said "Mrs. Moore, I saw your father yesterday.", then she leaned in conspiratorially and whispered "And he was wearing a dress!". I guess the explanations don't always take.
All skill and effort is to no avail when an angel pees down your drones.

That's a cute story. And here I always just assumed that pipers would somehow be immune to such querries.

I've seen children much younger than that tug at their parents pantleg upon the sight of me walking by in a kilt.

The conditioning of our children obviously starts at a very early age and is most thorough. Unfortunately, where the kilt is concerned, it is sadly lacking. I guess that's where the like of us comes into play.
