Rob, I don't believe I have seen that tartan made up before and Rocky has made another superb job of doing so. Now I have another 'want' to add to my list, as that is the only Stewart tartan I could bring myself to wear.

Unfortunately, it is not listed on the USAK website so I guess I've missed the boat - somehow I missed his 'Sale'!

For the "Almighty Hamish", we can get that tartan again.

McClef... our Casual models have 1.25 to 1.5" wide pleats. In this case, I believe (if memory serves) they were about 1.44 or 1.5" wide. There's 2 pleats in the striped section of the tartan and 2 in the "navy section". For a SEMI TRAD in the same tartan, we'd probably make 6 pleats (about .9 or 1" wide) per sett.

Ham. based on what I know, you would love this tartan as much as I do and as much as I dislike the normal bright Stewart(Stuart) tartans. I think that Rocky can get it again, it is one of Marton Mills standard tartans.

And McClef, the pleats are as generous, and certainly as deep, as most of my other kilts. To be honest, that photo of the pleats points out USAK's attention to detail and precise pleating. You really can not see the pleats in that picture because they are done so well to the sett.
