Upstate kilt night
Ok Guys here a couple of events that will make great kilt nights.
1. Enter the Haggis at the Handlebar on Thursday 9-28.
I hope to make it to this one but the jury is still out.
2. Gaelic Storm on at the Handlebar on Friday 10-20.
If I am in town I will make it to this one.

Cool!
I'll have to mark these on my calender! I never thought the Handlebar would have something like this.

I have seen Gaelic storm there before and it is a grand time.
They are great entertainers and fine musicians.
I would suggest arriving a little early as it will be a full house.
I do not think ETH has played there before or at least it has been a while.

I've always wanted to see Gaelic Storm in concert - they are fantastic. Unfortunately, I'll be in Myrtle Beach that whole week. I may try to join you guys for the ETH concert on the 29th though. The Handlebar is a great venue, I love coming down there. They have some great shows.

I'll be planning on it!!!!
Anyone coming from the southside of Greenville (Woodruff Road)? Maybe one of us could pick up others and carpool from the Hobby Lobby parking lot-where I'll be leaving from work (maybe even have a designated driver-> I'll volunteer if no one else is interested)?
When do things get started at the Handlebar (never been there before-> had to find it on the website).

These are the two times I Can't Make it!
I will be in Williamsburg the weekend of 9/28, and will be in Atlanta the weekend of 10/20. Oh well, with this many kilties around the area now there should be quite a few more chances for a good kilt night gathering.

In a previous thread, I tried to coordinate one, but had no interest. If you'll take lead, I'm interested. There is a pub on Woodruff Rd that I've been told may be a good place. There is also a pub on the north side of town somewhere, though I can't remember the name or location. I'd prefer a week night, so I can come after work, rather than drive up from down here.

The Handlebar is a great venue for seeing a show.
They have a bar/ food area that will be open all evening.
They have good food. The concert area will
open about 1 hour before show time. They have about 1/2 of the concert area that has chairs. If you want one, you need to go in and put a name tag on the seat which will hold it for you. My plans should be finalized by the end of next week so I will know which shows I can attend.

You are coming to Atlanta for the Stone Mountain Games, I assume? I believe X-Markers are touching base at the Clan Lamont Tent. I'll be around there, the Gordon, and exploring my newly discovered Campbell connections. Hope to see you there!
