I really love this L&M badger sporran, but it's as expensive as a handmade 8 yards 16ozer....such a pitty

Someday, I hope to wear this red fox beauty (also from L&M).

Perhaps a way to memorialize our pets?

Maybe look at it this way....

Remove the head....it's becomes a fur dress sporran...few have problems with that.

    A step further...

Shave the fur dress sporran...it becomes a plain leather daywear sporran...hardly anybody will have a problem with it.

Btw...I'll probably never buy such a sporran...I just like the look of it.

It looks ok, but I'm having one custom made. It's the state animal for Wisconsin, and a friend of mine is making a really beautiful one for me. It's going to take a long time, but all of his mask sporrans are the very best!

Actually the Celtic Croft has a joke link for turning a deceased pet into a sporran.

I just contacted the Dutch customs (my friends ), because I could not find this sporran at European kilt shops.
My gut feeling was justified...the badger is listed as an endangered species. It's illegal (criminal offence) to import such a sporran...customs will confiscate it and file criminal charges.

Best check state or country laws before ordering anything fluffy
