Christmas colors can mean many things. If you are talking before Christmas a Purple or Blue would be appropiate as they are the colors of advent. White and Gold are appropriate because the Liturgical colors for chrismas are white and gold. Although red and green are associated with christmas more people are going to a rose color to decorate with.
With this in mind maybe a dress stewart with white and red. Or another dress tartan that uses white as the background color.
Just pondering.
