    New Clarke Modern

I received my new Clarke Modern when I returned home from Minneapolis last week. I wore it this weekend at a class in Mesa Arizona and out last night to Fibber Magees http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/s...ad.php?t=21176. It is a Wool/PV 7.5 yard that is just perfect for our temperatures hovering between 90-100 degrees F. It fits great and only took 6 weeks from Scotland.

Well I'm off to show it off at the local pub. Everyone go out and have a good time, it's too nice to be sitting in front of a computer screen. O'Neille

    Wow...
    I like that tartan...
    Clarke you say????

    My middle name is "Clark"...
But don't think we have a tartan by that clan....not that we have a clan.

But I can always get one...and say..."It's Clarke..."

    Silent "E" me thinks....

    AKA "Clergy Tartan"

Do you have some Clarke lineage or just a fan of the tartan? It's gorgeous for sure...

I love the look of the predominantly blue tartans. The Clarke tartan is fairly complex and I think pleating to the sett was the best choice. That is definitely one handsome looking kilt you have there.

Congratulations, O'Neille, that is one very nice kilt indeed. You say it came from Scotland, but you do not name the kiltmaker. Dare one ask who it is?
