A Uk is a good choice for the money. Since you own a UK already I don't need to expound.

My best suggestion would be to wait untill you can afford a descent wool tartan Kilt. I've seen a sport kilt and you get what you pay for. They are ok for casual wear but they aren't a dress kilt. I don't want to run down a sponsor because they certainly have their place too. But if this is going to be your "Tartan Kilt" you should save up for one that looks and feels right. Maybe someone else can better explain the feeling of how a real "Tank" feels.

On the other hand if you need one in a hurry for a Highland games or ren fair and only have $150 go for it. Just know there is something better out there and it is worth the savings.

I agree with the USA Kilt casual...don't even need to get a sporran, wear a vest with it for pockets.

For me it was important to try a bunch of different kiltmakers to find what I liked.

Don't over look AmeriKilts for an inexpensive knock around kilt with cloth "sporran"

Honestly bro, I've never heard anyone being disappointed with SWK. I own 2 of them and I think they're awesome.
