Welcome aboard from just the other side of the Mason-Dixon line! I get up to York a few times a year, but I'll admit there are more times I'm passing through on Route 30 to go somewhere else.
We're fools whether we dance or not, so we might as well dance. - Japanese Proverb

goin to PA in my kilt..
<from Home, PA..
a small town between Indiana, ( GO INDIANS!!!, i'm NOT PC )and Punxytawney, ground hog land...with one of the BIGGEST parties around on the 2nd of Feb.
good place for a kilt...and VERY thick wooly hose..
i wear my kilt up home alot...
i get looks, not as many weird ones as in S.Carolina..
been in Pittsburgh in my amerikilt...fun.
with all the little towns like Nanty Glo, Sligo, Northern Cambria, Armagh,Carnegie,North Umberland, Blacklick, Castle Shannon, and more, it would seem the area is ripe for take over...
with a great kilt, the punic wars would be great too.
Home has all of 250, maybe 300 people in it, a great dinner, Home Maid, a nice grocery store, and a corner gas station, that IF you are on your way through, stop, at least get gas, or a coke, and wear your kilt. Ted will say something, what i don't know, but it's fun to see him light up..
and it gives everyone something to say for a few days..
stop by tanoma springs road, look at the covered bridge, and the buffalo ranch..
it's Ned Abby country..
if you're ther in early August, by all means, visit OX Hill fair in a kilt, the Amish girls love it..
could wear a black solid one with an amish straw hat..
live a little..
again; DO NOT go on a cruise without a kilt(s)!!!! include a nice one for the big captains dinner..
thank me later.
and call up Pittsburgh Kilts, find out IF he's gonna do it again..
GREAT camo kilts..
get an Amerikilt.
i want one from every maker around..
( an excuse to get more kilts..) PA RULES!!

If you ever get out to the eastern side of the state, stop by the shop and we'll try to set up a kilt night!
