    Hi Robin,
I guess these kilts are made by a MacTaliban
I wondered about that The site says 'made in Scotland' but it might depend on the way you define 'made'....Maybe they 'make' a pricetag and tie it to the kilt.....

I think I'll be taking the risk in the next few weeks. Trouble is I'll need to lose some weight to fit into their maximum size kilt (44 waist) being a 6 foot2 'big boned' man.

    Jeff.

Judging by the sizes, they only sell to wee folks....

....mmmm....42 Pounds is about eighty bucks, shipping is about another twenty...you're at about a hundred bucks....USA Kilts is doing a PV casual at about $110-120-ish and lots of people here have them and are happy with them. If you want to go acrylic, Stillwater is still about 80 bucks and ten shipping...you got choices...search the forum for comments and reviews.

Being in the UK my postage would be cheaper. Pity about the sizes being smallish though.
I've decided to risk it. Be ordering before Christmas at any rate. I also want to make a great kilt (using poly cotton as I'm lacking cash).
I can get the required material locally for the GT for about £30.
